Mini R4 installation and alternative uses

Hey there, just trying to research a little before purchasing for the house.

  1. I see lots of installations but none of them had pictures of the mini r4 behind a standard single pole north american switch like this

  1. Is there any reason one of these couldn’t be used with a wall plug and no switch? feed in the power, feed in the wall plug and make sure you are never drawing above 10a?

1.Normally there is enough space inside an american box/switch setup for a minir4 (see picture attached.
2.There should be sufficient space behing a wall outlet as well, althought I have not done it because it is simpler to use a smart plug (S40) than modifying
