Manual Data Source Selection for "Climate" Dashboard

Hi eWeLink Team,

I need technical assistance regarding the Climate panel in the “Insight” tab. I have a configuration conflict that I cannot resolve in the current app settings.

My Setup:

  • Primary Climate Sensor: SONOFF SNZB-02D-R2 (Zigbee LCD Sensor). This is intended to monitor the actual room temperature.

  • Temperature Relay: SONOFF TH Elite (THR316D). This device is used exclusively to control a heater in my aquarium.

The Problem:

The eWeLink app automatically pulls data from the TH Elite for the “Climate” dashboard. Since the TH Elite probe is submerged in an aquarium, the dashboard displays the water temperature (e.g., 25-26°C) instead of the ambient room temperature from my SNZB-02D-R2.

The Question:

Is there a way to manually select the data source for the Climate panel in the current version of the app? If not, please consider this a critical feature request for users who use TH-series devices for specialized tasks like aquariums or boilers.

Technical Info:

  • App Version: v5.22.0

  • Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro

  • Zigbee Sensor: SNZB-02D-R2

  • Relay: TH Elite (THR316D)

Thank you!

if you mean this panel then click on it

a list of temperatures in the home will be displayed

click the gear icon

and in the home environment settings you select the desired sensor and save it. is that what he was talking about?

Thank you for the suggestion!

I’ve tried clicking the gear icon, but unfortunately, the SNZB-02D-R2 is not listed there as an available source. Only my TH Elite (aquarium sensor) is visible in that menu.

It seems like a bug or a compatibility issue between the Zigbee Ultra (ZBBridge-U) hub and the Insight tab for this specific sensor model.

Thanks again for trying to help!
