  1. I don’t want to change the entire air conditioner.

  2. can only be controlled with a remote control.

  3. I could wait years because new products with ewelink support come years after others, for example TRVZB is three years behind the competition. I will look for a way to connect the currently available devices.
    according to the discussion, I’m not the only one who would appreciate such a device. and if I look at the competition, it won’t be as difficult as ewelink claims to support such a device. especially when the website historically brags that it will and even in the application he himself does not need to know all the codes, the learning mode is enough.

It used to be an ewelink IR bridge some years ago, I bought few of them for resale. It worked only on Android.

One workaround these days is to use a Tuya IR Bridge device and work through Alexa RUTINES. that way to can trigger Alexa routines with ewelink devices and have Tuya IR Bridge perform the actions. It is not ideal, but if there is a need to trigger IR commands via ewelink, that is a viable alternative.

Same pattern to integrate other Tuya devices with ewelink.
