iHost / NSPanel pro: How to connect a Garden plot (too far away for direct zigbee connection)

you can’t duplicate scenes.
you create a scene either in SmartThings or in ihost.

I have simple, typically local scenes in ihost.
complex ones in smartthings. in smartthings I mainly create scenes for matter devices.

No. The pro runs Android and has a browser. What you could however do is ask your iHost to watch for if either of the physical buttons are pressed and then do something when it is. You would just need to remember what the buttons do or set up a notification to your phone what you have done.

I have never used this other system but my guess is that someone has already made an Node Red palette for it. Then you could just install the Node Red docker image on the iHost and only create 1 automation anywhere.

So, the weekend is over and I’ve completed the first (and probably last) test run of the “Aeotec ST Hub only” version. I immediately noticed that the motion sensor SNZB-03P is not recognized correctly by the Aeotec Hub. The device as such is recognized and connected, but not its function. The subsequent connection test via Matter went much better, so it will probably be 2x iHost + Aeotec via Matter.

You need to download the driver for the SNZB-03P device from the sonoff website for the smartthings hub.

I don´t know why some manufacturers have such problems with other Zigbee device and others (like Sonoff) do not.
But well - I don’t care. As long as I can do what I want by using iHost, that’s fine for me. All the (Zigbee) components I tried to connect to the iHost are working and shown in ST Hub via Matter.
The only thing I would really like to have, is an integration of Enocean. There are a lot of Enocean components in my house and, right now, I have no idea how to connect them to the iHost. At least there is a USB-Port, which Sonoff could use to gain wireless capabilities…

Is this the Samsung app?
It can remote control the devices running locally on iHost?

With a matter smartthings hub, you can control all devices shared through the ihost matter bridge in the smartthings app.

Yes, it’s the Samsung App - no matter if you use the Samsung Hub or the Aeotec Version.

Yes that is true but the Smartthings phone app is cloud based. What run locally are the rules and routines.
