Yes, it is or in other words, it should be possible. See this thread on HA Forum for more information.

If you are already looking for supervisor, docker installation may not be for you. And there could be many unexpected issues even you succeed.
Indeed, could be many. So technically it is possible but practically it is pretty useless.
