In Post #19, May 3, 7:04 AM the screenshot shows the last step in the process the desktop HA reaches.
I follow steps 1 and 2, Github accepts the code and is successful.
I then go back to HA and this screenshot is supposed to update, but is just loads forever.
Did you paste the code on Github page to authorise your device?
Yes, Github authorises the device when I paste the code in.
Congratulations, you’re all set! Your device is now connected.
I return to the HA desktop browser screen and the window Waiting for device activation, remains loading forever.
Did you reboot you HA? I mean reboot, not restart. If not, do so and try again with HACS.
If nothing improves, I am unable to think of anything else. Remotely, and based on your description, I can’t point to a solution. Additionally, I have no experience with HA instances as a VM on the Qemu hypervisor. From the discussions on the HA forum, it seems to be a problematic solution. So, try asking on the HA community forum (not the eWeLink forum). Surely someone already had this problem.
