Matter? And what should those who don’t have a Matter bridge do???

@yitie When will NSPanel 120PB be supported in eWeLink web?

After a quick look,
If it’s a light intensity sensor from IKEA or Philip Hue or Aqara, the IKEA DIRIGERA gateway/ Hue bridge/ Aqara M2 or M3 gateway are already officially supports Matter.
Brands with Tuya module build-in have there corresponding gateway with Matter bridge capability, so it should not be a problem to join up.

Let me know if I miss something.

In the next one or two releases, same capabilities as the NSPanel Pro.

I only have sonoff devices, I don’t have any other bridges from other brands and manufacturers!!! When is sonoff planning to release it?

Release what? a light intensity sensor? I don’t have new device launch information about that.

If you are asking for a Light Sensor from SONOFF, please consult their staff @Staff-of-SONOFF for new product plans.

For eWeLink platform, as ytie mentioned above, we will soon support Matter-enabled light sensors, regardless of vendors.

Thank you! I don’t really understand how matter works under ewelink control. Do I need to have the desired matter device and a bridge from sonoff or do I need an additional device? Do I need an additional program from the device brand to connect the matter device?

nah

Here are two paths to use Matter with supported platform/app

  1. Native/Direct connection
Matter Certified WiFi/Ethernet/Thread devices, should connect to a supported platform without a bridge.

  2. Bridge
There are lots of devices that do not talk Matter, so a matter Bridge is to translate these foreign languages into the universal one.

In this way Zigbee devices or Z-Wave devices can be integrated with Matter platforms in batch.

When will more devices like sonoff mini r4 be added

MINI R4 is supported by eWeLink WEB since 2023

for the new energy estimation function mini R4 is not supported

yes it is not yet, we’ll make is supported soon.

Great to see more improvement, nice addition 3.10!
now I only wish for iHost to be available to present the zigbee devices
Cheers to the development team

Great job!

I think it would be good if the same and similar user interface were applied to iHost and eWelink app, respecting the specifics of technology and purposes.

Hi
I was tryinbg to setup the kilwatt/price, but this screen doesn’t reflect what I have

I have 2 different prices for different times of the day, check

Is it possible to improve?

Thanks

All the Zigbee devices I’ve tried adding are shown on Cast+/-Tailscale. Some virtual devices I’ve created on the iHost haven’t been. Think they don’t have icons for pressure etc.

The thing I wanted to say but forgot was the offline notification for the iHost itself. It’s useful to know if everything fails. At moment I have a Home Assistant send an MQTT message to check if the iHost replies (and so is alive) but that requires my Home Assistant and MQTT Server never to fail.

Another idea is to add an energy capability to the Cube API version 3: I’ve never liked “energy” being applied to just electricity and not Gas/Oil energy. My natural gas energy is send to MQTT and then to the iHost. At the moment I could create a power from energy and time but pretend it is electric but if it were electricity then we could send other types of energy to the display (as-well as Natural Gas and Oil you could add solar panels and non-electricity ground pumps).
