Hi,
I am using the NSPanel Pro as a Zigbee bridge with eWeLink. I have 3 different Zigbee 3.0 bulbs from different brands. All of them support white color temperature adjustment (from warm/yellow to cool/blue).
I noticed a problem:
When I set the bulbs to full warm (yellow) in their own original apps, they look correct – very warm light. But when I connect one of those bulbs to eWeLink via the NSPanel Pro, and try to set it to the same full warm level, it looks less yellow. It’s like eWeLink is not using the full warm white channel of the bulb.
Here is an image showing what I mean:
- Bulb 1: controlled with its brand app – full warm
- Bulb 2: controlled with its brand app – full warm
- Bulb 3: controlled with eWeLink – set to full warm
but still too white or blue-looking
So eWeLink seems to not fully activate the warm channel like the original apps do. This makes the color colder than it should be, even when I set it to the warmest setting in the eWeLink app.
Can this be fixed in a future update? Maybe eWeLink is not sending the correct Zigbee commands for full warm white?
