Energy entity of POWR2 is not supported in CUBE
Please add power usage information from your POWR2 device to ihost.
The device is very popular and cannot be used in ihost to measure energy.

There’s no plan for this feature at the moment, as I mentioned in another post in reply to your question.

But we will surely raise its priority if more users vote for the feature.

Thx for your kind proposal.

All sonoff products should work with iHost, and the iHost should expose to ewelink app…
Waiting for this feature

Why should iHost expose to the eWelink app? It was designed as a local server and there was no intention of integrating in a cloud app.
Agree with you regarding all Sonoff products.

Exactly. Ewelink Cube should support all sonoff devices locally.

what is not supported in the case is the energy medicine. however the iHost Cube was not made for energy medicine. in case it does not save data or anything in relation to energy. it would be useful ihost have a power dashboard where the PowR2 PowR3 PowRing and etc… could be used to control energy expenditure.

Does no one use POWR2 on ihost?
Does no one need power usage information?

I don’t have one, but surely we need a virtual switch with energy /power?

Unfortunately we don’t have the power information of PowerR2 when we have the information of PowerR3.
However, this information within iHost is useless.

In the future it would be cool to have the energy consumption dashboard.

If support for PowR2 and smart circuit breakers gain support, it would be a wonder.

Be able to check energy expenditure locally.

Nowadays I use the advanced plan feature.
He serves me well nowadays. It would be nice to have a local option.

I really don’t understand why the energy entities are not available on the Cube.

I was looking at the ewelink-smart-home Log and saw that it can recover the energy entities via LAN. I really don’t know why they limited it to PowR3, but the information is available in the Addon.

Who knows, maybe one day this information will be released.

I think there is a problem with POWR2.

Namely, the same problem occurs when connected to the Home assistant, but the problem is overcome by the integral of the instantaneous consumption per unit of time

I have the feeling that Sonoff gave up on the “first” generation of devices. I don’t know if the feeling is deceiving me!

Vote. Maybe we’ll see a feature someday

I have had my POWR2s running via sonofflan in HA for years via LAN mode and none of them have ever given me a problem. They are all measuring correctly.

Unfortunately, POWR2 has only three attributes (voltage, current and power), but not electricity consumption, while in the case of the Sonoff 320D I have two additional attributes that give me monthly and daily electricity consumption.

In home assistant my POWR2 gives these values.

I have the SonoffLAN v3.8.0 add-on

Thank you very much! The Energy attribute was disabled.

For POWR2, the value (power , voltage) was shown in ewelink smart home v.2.4.1

This is a calculation that the system itself can do. Having the other information, knowing how much was spent is super simple.
