Better Support for S31and TX ultimate in eWeLink CUBE

The feature power monitor for S31 and turn on turn off and scene for Ambient light, slide right, slide left for TX ultimate do not exist on Ihost. These feature is basic, any plan for these basic feature.

Ihost is for local device to replace cloud of ewelink app but I buy the local device and still use the cloud of ewelink. Something that seems unreasonable

I think the complaint about TX Ultimate scenes is valid.

You just have to see if this information is passed via LAN mode.

I think it would be possible to test it with node-red.

Now about the s31, I think it is the same thing as the POWR2.

There is a topic on the forum that talks about passing these energy capacities to the iHost on these devices.

Since the iHost currently only recognizes the energy of the POWR3 and newer.

Even recognizing the POWR3, we cannot make automations according to the energy data.

@ward I suggest changing the topic of the improvement request.

Thx for the feedback, but there’s no plan for such features in eWeLink CUBE at the moment.

I’m turning it into a feature request for votes so our team can track and evaluate for future schedules.

I too would especially like if the swipe functions for the TX ultimate were supported.

I have found a workaround by using HA and virtual switches with Node-Red. Home Assistant can detect the swipe event and set a virtual switch which I can trigger my Node-Red scene from.

It really should be standard to support all the same features of Sonoff devices when they are added to eWeLink CUBE as when they are added to the eWeLink app. Only supporting a subset of functions makes the eWeLink CUBE development appear incomplete.

It should be a basic feature, not feature request.

A Full Local Home Automation System With iHost. Is this a promise, like how you advertise your product? Because the word “full local home” so I bought the ihost. I am only talking about Sonoff products, not third-party devices and I don’t know if it will be added in the future.

Well, there is nothing wrong with the images you are showing.

Both devices continue to work fully locally with iHost.

I agree with you complaining that there is no specific type of scene that you want.

However, they did not sell it saying that it would be possible to do all the scenes that exist in the ewelink app locally.

I repeat, the image only talks about the operation of the products locally.
And that exists.

I am not trying to defend or anything.
However, this is something that needs to be raised.

And as I said, the topic should be converted to a request for a new function/automation.

So we have to use the cloud of ewelink even though we have the ihost, the local device. The available features for ewelink app should be available on ihost. Do you think it’s right?
