Devices cannot be selected in both trigger and action, in scenarios

I want to make a 2 hour shutdown delay, but there is a maximum of 1 hour.

if you make a scenario by delay, the scenario by delay is not built on all devices, it was possible to create a scenario by delay only on one device “S60TPF”

on other devices cannot be selected in both trigger and action
It would be good if all devices would have such an option so that they could be added both in the trigger and in the actions. It turns out that I can’t do an elementary thing, delay the device after switching on for 2 hours.

If it’s possible in some devices, why not in others? It can be changed in software, right?

This was due to the prevention of infinite loops in cloud-based scenes. And there is no such plan for the feature you proposed.

For a longer timer/delay, could you please create a feature request topic so others can vote?

Thanks a lot!

They can put protection in scenarios so that there are no infinite repetitions of cycles.
For example, when you insert only a timer in an action and nothing else, the scenario will not be saved, it says that you need to add more actions. You can also add protection when the program warns about infinite repetition of cycles. Infinite cycles can happen even without selecting the same device.

If such a scenario works for some devices, it turns out there is another reason.
So some devices can pose a threat to the program, and others can’t?

I am new to this forum, I haven’t figured out how to create a request yet.

Yes, and I think there are already such limitations in scenes that include scenes.

Thx for the ideas.

For a new feature proposal, simply create a topic here:

As a workaround for the devices that are not allowed to be in the TRIGGER and ACTION sections of SCENES at the same time, you can create a TAP TO PERFORM scene for the device you need to action and then you would be able to create your scene using the device in the TRIGGER section and call the TAP TO PERFORM SCENE in the action part. This way overcoming the restriction.

Hope this helps.
