Adding a sonoff gateway pro

Hi,

Very new to all this so please be gentle!

I installed a number of sonoff micro switches, connected them to my wifi, but despite having a mesh wifi system, they are going on and off line too much. They switch between LAN and WIFI

So, I added a sonoff gateway pro and a number of the micro USB (all of which have a strong connection).

Is there a way to move the micro switches onto the gateway rather than the wifi?

I would like them to form a consistent LAN connection if possible.

I hope my question makes sense, if not sorry haha

Are you talking about ZBMicro switches?

No,

The micro relay switches which are controlling manual light switches.

The micro USB switches are connects to the gateway already.

I suspect I have to open them up and repair them

Which ones do you have on mind? There are several switches to think about.

Devices that are wifi do not magically change to zigbee and vice versa. There is no technical way to change this. Only buy new zigbee devices and replace those that are wifi.

If wifi devices have a problem with range, you need to think about improving the signal quality from the router, add some AP.

If devices switch from cloud mode to LAN Mode, it is a problem with your internet connection, not local wifi. The switch occurs when the device loses/cannot obtain connection with ewelink servers.
