will these still be controllable in ewelink App? (like it is now)

Hello, the Add-on sync and Direct sync are independent. If you switch to Direct sync, you’ll need to manually clean up the devices that were synced via Add-on first.
In addition, devices synced through Direct sync can be controlled from both eWeLink App and iHost simultaneously.
