Hi
I have paired some motion sensors to the ZigBee pro bridge. However, I can’t create a scene that run when the alarm is set off.
I want to turn a ZigBee plug on when the alarm is triggered.
Following this too as I have the same issue, tried all avenues I can think of but have been unable to work out a solution. I would like to trigger a louder alarm.
Vine a preguntar lo mismo. El interruptor zb r3 servirá para crear una escena al activarse la alarma?
Still no one with a solution for this?
I believe this problem has already been solved!
As the person said above.
It would be enough to install a siren that goes off when it receives power.
With that, it would be enough to install a Sonoff Mini or Sonoff Mini Zigbee.
Create an automation so that whenever the alarm is triggered, this device turns on. With that, the loudest siren would go off!
Hello! We are currently assessing this feature.
In the meantime, you can use the sensors directly within the scene functionality to trigger actions, such as executing Bridge alarms and coordinating with other smart devices.
I don’t think this is a real solution. The hub has a functionality and can’t be used.
In this case, this is the solution to the problem. If there is any software or brand limit, you could use any brand of analog siren, not a smart one.
You could trigger several depending on the scenario needed!
Here I have a mix of analog sirens with Alexa and Google Home.
This way I can create automations on all platforms.
I can make Alexa trigger a siren or Google.
I can also make Alexa or Google trigger a non-smart siren.
If the HUB also has a siren, it is possible to make it trigger together.
From what I saw, all scenarios would be covered.
When you have 20 doors+windows sensors you should include scenes for all of them. Using the Armed function in the hub is the correct solution. If it’s armed and a sensor opens the siren is triggered. I understand i can use a workaround but the correct solution should be to trigger a better siren from the hub.
