I’ve been having big problems with my ZB device lately. And I can’t exactly determine if it’s a network problem or some problem on the Ewelink side. Instead of a roast meat watchdog, I would appreciate and not be the only device to diagnose the ZB network.
As far as I know, the user of the application has no way of ensuring which devices are connected where, whether everything is fine, and whether they are sufficiently baptized
.
What kind of issues do you wish to diagnose via the eWeLink app?
signal strength.
identify which devices are connected to a particular router.
network response.
throughput.
to build a robust network and minimize outages. better deploy repeaters
You are asking for a zigbee map then?
Yes, something like that
I think this has been discussed in another topic.
It’s more of a feature of gateway firmware. Some chipsets inside the gateways may not have the capability of saving all the routing/LQI values.
SONOFF has recently released basic LQI features for certain gateways, for the Zigbee map, I’m not sure if @SONOFF-Staff will add the features.
Yes, I believe it is possible that the “Sonoff bridge pro” gateway hardware cannot do this, but that is why I would appreciate a diagnostic unit that could do this with ewelink web support instead of a meat thermometer.
