Visualize Zigbee Map Network

We need a map for ZigBee connections in the Sonoff/eWeLink ecosystem.

This is urgent! Currently, I have no way to determine which devices are connecting directly to the bridge and which are using other devices.

This creates absurd situations where an intermediate device is turned off, and the devices that were using it suddenly go offline and, despite being within range for days, are unable to connect directly to the bridge.

Great idea. This would be very helpful.

I already asked for it a few years ago and used up almost all the votes. I think that zb ultra has enough power to create such a map, although I understand that it is not a perfect thing, but the current state is more like crystal ball divination. Personally, I think that it is not so much about the hardware as about the data and then it is right to virtualize and the application or Ewelink website could handle that. Hopefully, the call for a map will finally be heard.

I’m no expert, but it seems to me that this doesn’t require any powerful hardware. The map could be generated in the eWeLink application/website, simply collecting data from the bridge/devices. Since the devices know where they’re connected, it should be possible to read it in the API and visualize it, or create a text log and present the devices by ID.

Any official response from ewelink?

It will be also great, if we will be able to bind some zigbee device to certain router device as now very often happen that device is connected to the router device which is far away and closer router is available (shown on Ihost zigbee map). It will help to stabilize whole zigbee network.
