What can I possibly be doing wrong

Hello everyone,

I am new here. I just purchased 4 of these sonoff wifi switches.

I tried all the switches.

I installed the app…
got the switches to link…
upgraded the firmware

Tried a simple 12v light and nothing.

Black— Common
Red to NC but I tried normally open.

All the lights light up and I here a click with I click the app button but no light.

I tried a voltmeter and no power at the connection point?

Is that the Sonoff SV switch? I think it is. Isn’t the SV switch simply a Dry Relay? For like using on a garage door opener? Its not suppose to have power coming off it.

Know how to test it? Use your multimeter, but check it as a on/off switch. Check it for continuity, not power.
