Trouble using Zigbee IKEA GU10 device group in automated scenes on iHost

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping to get some help with an issue I’m having with my iHost and a group of Zigbee IKEA GU10 LED bulbs.

I’ve successfully created a group of these bulbs on the iHost. When I access the group directly, I can control all the lights together. I can adjust the brightness, change the color temperature, and turn the entire group on or off without any problems.

The issue arises when I try to use this group in an automated scene. When I go to create a new scene and select the devices to control, the group I created does not appear in the device list. I can only see and select each individual bulb, not the group as a single entity. This makes it difficult to create a scene that controls all the bulbs together with a single action.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a step I’m missing, or is this a known limitation of the iHost’s scene functionality?

I’ve attached a screenshot showing the group I created and another showing the device list when I try to set up the scene.

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

I have the same problem.

Sonoff official support replied that it is not possible to select a group as a triggered device for light bulbs, only for switches and some other devices.

This fuctionality is available in tuya smart life, for long time.so maybe you will be better off trying it. Shame on sonoff for their software that works like shit

I think the request is quite reasonable, let check with the team to see if and when it will be supported.

@SuiKa @Jemma @KwayLi99

@auffantre @bohdangutnyk Check with the dev-team, this feature- groups control in scenes - is on the to-do list, need time to set a dev-version and make it happen, please stay tuned.

Good to hear. Cheers/ :grinning_face:
