The Zigbee protocol is a “framework”. Devices conforming to version 3.0 guarantee communication at a basic level. Depending on the platform (e.g. eWeLink or Tuya), extended functions are variously implemented. There is no complete compatibility here. Zigbee consists of various protocol layers: physical layer (PHY), mac layer, network layer and application layer.
