I have x2 SWV - Water Irrigation devices.
Is it possible to use them as simple water meters? i just want to track water consumption but they keep turn off and close the water.
Are there any recommended configuration that support this requirement?
do you mean turn ON/OFF the SWV in eWeLink app without schedule?
for now there’s no such manual option in app, you may need to press the physical button to achieve your goal.
Thanks for your reply, the goal is to have the device function as a standard digital smart water meter.
I could only configure it to a LONG cycle of irrigation but that also finish eventually.
Too bad it is not supported cause its only a firmware away from being an amazing product that gives real service.
Honestly, I don’t understand what your problem is. Don’t configure the opening time and as @Teki points out use on/off. Is it not possible to do that?
indeed it lacks the Manual mode in eWeLink app, which is available if it connects to iHost, see pic blow, in Manual mode you can turn ON or OFF anytime.
For now in eWeLink app the SWV only has Auto mode which must follow the Schedule or Capacity rules.
And when no flowing water detected by SWV for 30mins, it will automatically turn OFF.
I’ll talk to SONOFF team and our eWeLink team to see when we can improve this, to add Manual mode in app and make the water detection (flowing) an option.
I’ve logged in to my iHost and went to the ewelink docker app - it cant detects the SWV devices (two).
I cant see both in the ewelink mobile app (iPhone) and can operate it On\Off so it connected.
is there another way to add it to iHost?
Moreover, i checked in ewelink web and the option is missing as well.
Unfortunately when i logged into my iHost the interface detects the ZBBridge-P which the 2 SWV are connected via - is shows “0 Devices” so i guess that’s why i cant find the actual SWV devices.
Thank you for the screenshot,
Im using iHost with CUBE version 2.4.1 and a docker for the eWeLink Smart Home addon version 2.4.3 - the x2 SONOFF SWV devices are shown as “Not supported yet” in eWeLink Smart Home docker addon hence i do not expect to see them in the iHost device list.
