Hi Daniel! Is there a chance I can use DUALR3 ton control my curtains but link it to R5 ?? I don’t have a wall switch and I don’t want a cable running down the wall or having to break the wall to install a wall switch, so my idea was to control DUALR3 from R5

The eWeLink-Remote for DUALR3/DUALR3 Lite will be available in the next OTA. Please be patient for the next firmware update.

Hi Nescha,

The DUALR3 will be updated with the eWeLink-Remote feature which can learn the eWeLink-Remote controller.
We will also release a 3-keys remote controller in the next month, especially for the curtain control. 3 buttons for open, stop and close.
So you can control the curtain even if there is no Internet. It is more reliable than the setting in smart scenes.

Because of that, we will not update the reverse in smart scenes.

I am very sorry to hear this Reverse will not be implemented.
I have 6 blinds in my apartment and having 6 remote controllers for each of them is not quite optimal.
Sorry, I still do not understand why T0 devices can have a Reverse in scenes while Dual R3 does not.

I am trying to use R5 to control the motor.
R5 cannot be used with some other condition with the current firmware because it does not allow multiple IF conditions in Scenes.
E.g. I cannot pair it with Dual R3 Motor mode to check whether a motor is stopped, going up, or going down, and then to decide on an action.

It would be really beneficial for Dual R3, besides Open/Close/Stop, to have two new options StopOrOpen and StopOrClose - to stop if the motor is running regardless is Opening or Closing, or if Stopped to go Open or Close.

Hi!

I know this topic is old, but I just stumbled upon the planned release of a 3-button eWelink-remote, and was wondering what happened to it, because it wasn’t released. Is there a possibility to see something similar? Because is just what I have been looking for a long time.

Also, is sad that there are no more options than the R5 for ewelink-remote. When it first showed I was expecting maybe a 1, 2, 4 buttons difeferent models, but never happened. I currently have to buy a 6 key (18 actions) remote to control just the ON/OFF of a light
