I have several ZB MiniR2. Thez are controlled by scenes so I did not notice that. When I control one unit by local switch (the one on the unit or via S1 S2. The function is ok, it switches ON and OFF. But, the state is not update on the application. Is iy a bug on the Sonoff firmware (but they does not answer me !) or on Ewelink application. It works with ZB Mini…
Thanks in advance.
I’m having the same problem. The eWeLink app doesn’t recognize the on or off status of devices if they’re turned off or on by scene.
I contacted support, but they’re not responding.

Hi,
Finaly I found the “bug”. I was using a first version of Zigbee bridge. I choosed to move to zigbee bridge pro. And it works ! In addition we have acces to the firmware version and update capabillity.
It’s strange that neither ewelink or Sonoff was abble to give that information !
II’m using nspanel pro as a zigbee hub
ZBMINIR2 - does it really work as zigbee signal extender?
I have mounted two pieces in two different rooms halfway between zbbridge-p and trvzb but I can`t see any differences in zigbee signal strenght of TRVZBs even though I set “turbo mode” on
The only thing that comes to my mind is… should zbminir2 be connected to zbbridge-p before trvzb?
Could the order of connection make any difference? I don’t think so, but… maybe one of you has already done this and has your own observations. I could check it but I don`t want to loose my historical data after restart/reconnection…
Can zbminir2 be used to control an electrical socket or only as a light switch? I couldn`t find any electrical diagram for that…
I found that maximum load is 2400W but connection S1/S2 to neutral or ground wire is prohibited
Strange that you should ask that.
I wanted a device with a built in repeater.
Looking at the ZBMINIR2 on ebay, some of the adverts show them as repeaters and some not.
I could not see any difference from the photos, just the technical literature they presented.
I have bought one from an advert showing it as a repeater, which was more expensive than others, but haven’t received it yet.
I’ll post again, when I have received it and tried it…
Well, I eventually had to re-order the ZBMINIR2 from a different supplier as the original supplier failed to deliver after 5 weeks. The second order was with the SONOFF Store (via eBay). It was delivered promptly and the module does indeed act as a repeater.
I had read during that time, about some issues reported with the ‘relay disconnect’ feature and the switch-contact input into HA (using ZHA). However, I have tried / tested the feature. The input status and relay operate as described in the device instructions.
If ‘relay disconnect’ is selected, a switch connected to the S!-S2 terminals does not directly operate the internal relay.
The switch input can be monitored within ZHA and used independently for automations. (Including switching the relay on and off).
