Schemes doesn’t work anymore. It is indicated as “on” but doesn’t start. I could see that in the log. Probably has to do with the recent update of Sonos to 8.0 where it said that it should be done before DST change. I did that but didn’t use a scheme till after.
Do you mean that before the DST transition, you followed the instructions —updating the eWeLink app, setting the app’s time zone, updating the firmware of eligible devices—and then created a scene, but the scene didn’t execute as expected?
I did see that the version was ok. Didn’t check timezone, but did so now and it was CET. Even when this was not so, the device should have switched, but at the wrong time.
The problem seems to be that the original way of setting an on- or off-time was per device in Settings > Scheme. That isn’t working anymore. I created a scene in my webapp and that works (and is also on the phone). Is this on purpose in the updated firmware (not very well communicated btw)?
Thanks for the information — I think I have a rough idea of the issue you’re experiencing.
Could you please submit a support ticket via the eWeLink app (App > Profile > Help & Feedback > Feedback)? That way, we’ll be able to check the device logs and look into it further for you.
Sorry I am a bit late replying. I used scheme (per device), not scene. I now switched to scene, and that works well and is much easier to use than scheme. A pity my ten(?) years old Sonnoff 4CH Pro firmware 3.6.7 can’t be accessed this way.
