Technically, you can run CubeOS in a Hyper-V virtual machine on Windows, but let’s be honest. It’s a bit like putting a go-kart engine in a cargo plane. Hyper-V doesn’t speak ARM natively, so you’d need extra emulation layers like QEMU, which turns a simple setup into a science project. CubeOS is built for embedded hardware, not for lounging around in virtual luxury suites. And if you’re thinking of using this to control your smart home… well, reality might have a few objections.
