I spent some time in searching for a suitable solution on a dimmer capable to manage inductive load like a fan. To be honest i don’t like iFAN-04 solution for two reasons: first is a big device and cannot be hidden easily, second it cannot be integrated also with a manual rotary knob . In my opinion there should be one option which has a wider range of use integrating RC or RL switch to select the appropriate load, a rotary for manual operation and a possible integration with an external switch to switch on/off a light integrated in many ceiling fan.
One example of what I’m referring is something similar to www.ecodim.nl (eco dim.07 pro)
