I have Sonoff PT2 and Cube OS on iHost canot detect this camera.

even in the latest version 2.8.1? We fixed some issues when discovering the ONVIF camera in this version.

I have latest version 2.8.1

Please try updating the firmware of the PT2. Then reset and re-add it to your eWeLink account. Then, make sure to enable ONVIF in the ā€œMore Settingsā€ section. I just tested the camera I have, and it was able to be added successfully. Is it only this specific camera that cannot be added, or are all cameras having this issue?

Excellent work, it’s working. haven’t you thought about whether your cameras could record to iHost. What would you do with iHost nvr where you can also play back recordings? it would really add value to iHost and since I often install cameras, you would have better sales and I will be happy that it will work.

Thats sound fantastic
especially the: trigger smart home automations

can’t expect to try it

Works nice
but we need more Timer functions for that

Example
your camera detects movement
and you want to trigger lights to go on

That works fine
but how to deactivate the light automatically after some minutes?

ok found it out
a second scene with a delay  is needed

Ok i have played a little bit with this feature

It works fine
But only for the first camera i added
Is there a limitation?

I tried 2 identical cameras
with exactly the same Firmware and settings

Both are added as Onvif
The video part is ok on both

But only the first camera can trigger smart home scenes
The second one not :-/

Thank you for sharing your experience! As for the issue you encountered, can you share some pics or screenshots to show it? also attached the issue log would be better!

why don’t you support the option that it will be possible to play recordings from your cameras that have an SD card through iHost. it would definitely be a big plus for the customer to buy your cameras and iHost. you could also put this option in the cast. I see it as realistic for every user to be a user who likes that you are progressive.

You could add a fixed loop but what you really want is. a delay after the last movement with each movement resetting the timer. You can do this in Node Red on the iHost.

little bit late but

it works
but i dont know why

I didnt changed much
Just renamed my scenes (for organisational purpose)
and than it startet to work for both cameras

I will keep an eye on that

Why don’t you support the possibility of playing back recordings from your cameras that have an SD card via iHost? iHost would serve as a player for the camera recordings.
