In V3.7.0, the new function Web Shortcut will automatically search for the following two types of local network services (displayed by IP address) and show them icons on the screen:
- Home Assistant
- iHost CAST
This allows you to easily use the NSPanel Pro as a control screen for Home Assistant or iHost CAST. Hope you will get a better experience in NSPanel Pro V3.7.0.

I have iHost connected to the same NSPanel Pro network, but when I go to “Web shortcut” it shows me a message to connect to an eWeLink Account.
Note: Mine NSPanel Pro is set to work as a router and not gateway.
3.7.0 update is terrible and made using an ns panel pro annoying. It should of been good but for home assistant dashboards its not.
The webpage page now has this horrible arrow at the top of the screen to show/hide the url bar. Sounds ok but homeassistant dashboards have their menu at the top which now means 2 taps to use that menu. 1 tap to show the url banner and only then can you click the homeassistant menu icons.
Problem is the click can be anywhere in the top line not just on the arrow! Which is the same line the homeassistant menu is in.
Really need a way to turn off the url banner click entirely.
As for web shortcuts 1 of my 2 panels keeps showing homeassistant errors loading the page for most homeassistant cards but not all. But makes it totally unusable.
When it does work and you want to scroll just the homeassistant menu left/right the ns panel actually changes the entire page e.g to the devices or home screen.
If i could i would downgrade to the previous version which works alot better for homeassistant, please fix 3.7.0 web shortcuts and webpages url banner.

When the homeassistant shows the error, what information is displayed? Could you provide a photo?

When using HA in the Web Shortcut, what specific action causes the entire page to change? Does it happen due to accidental triggers when tapping? Or accidental triggers while swiping?

Has the NSPanel Pro already been linked to your eWeLink account (via QR code login)? Logging in is required to use its various functions properly.

This is the error. After auto discovery the page loads normally. Only after i come back later is it then showing this. I do have the screensaver on so its when i dismiss that. I dont navigate anywhere.
And yes its linked to my ewelink account otherwise i wouldnt see this option.

Do u happen to have a slow network? Or proxy/firewall rules? This is a regular issue when frontend failed loading resource files of some HACS plugins.
I use unify so the network isnt slow.
1 ns panel pro has been 100% fine.
The one with the issue is even nearer a wifi access point. The same url used on this panel using websites renders totally fine. Just not when using the web shortcut.
Have deleted it from web shortcuts and readded several times. Upon adding it renders fine. Its then sometime later when i come back it then looks like as the image showed.
That said the panel did crash today with the error attached and restarted itself when i pressed close app. its been ok now for 13 hours the longest yet. Never had a panel crash before tho.

A day and a half later and its started doing it again and is showing the custom element doesnt exist error again constantly.

For app crashes, if it happens again, please submit feedback on your NSPanel Pro and eWeLink app for logs.
Having frequent app crashes on both my panels using the home assistant web page as well as custom element does not exist error as described above. Have submitted feedback on both panels after reboot due to app not responding. Hoping for a fix soon as it’s fairly unusable in this state for me.
After updating to version 3.7.0 the screen saver stopped working. When NspanelPro receives a notification the screen lights up and after 15 seconds it does not go into screen saver mode. Please open a ticket reporting the problem.
I noticed exactly the same error, but I stayed on that screen by 30 seconds and it started the update again by itself.
