I would like a 4 or 8 channel input device, with On/Off (Open/closed) , analog 0-5VDC, or 0-10VDC. With this device you can make your own PLC together with Output devices you already have. Please make it with Wifi or Zigbee. I have a full running house with ewelink units, and few Tuya unit.
0-5 or 10V make a trigger > < = level. Pulse or fixed. and at last with equal (=) a slope value.
Use it for extern buttons, doorbells, Mailbox, Door alarms,
If you have Home Assistant, you can use a Siemens LOGO and communicate via Modbus, or more recently via MQTT. Depending on the LOGO version, you have digital inputs, analog inputs, and similar outputs. If data acquisition is centralized in a home electrical panel, this is a good option. You acquire the data, process it in HA or even within the LOGO, and transfer it via HA to interact with eWeLink or any type of device available in HA integrations.
I’ve now ordered materials for my project to integrate the automatic opening controller for my two-arm hydraulic vehicle entrance gate, with closed gate detection. To do this, I’ll use relays to detect opening and closing, and a reed switch for the closed door. Since I have an eWeLink remote device nearby, I’ll use a SMATE 2. Although it uses batteries (which last three years), I’ll have three inputs that will generate three scenes. I’ll eventually use Home Assistant to control everything.
