iHost node-red virtual switches and Alexa

I’ve noticed a little quirk on my iHost that node-red virtual switches created before iHost was linked with Alexa on Matter Bridge do not show on the Alexa Device List and do not show as connected devices when drilling down into the iHost device on the list. To experiment I’ve tried a couple of things that don’t work:

  1. Changing the Virtual Switch Device name in iHost.
  2. Changing some of the Virtual Device parameters in node-red and re Deploying and Timestamping.

I’m reluctant to delete the particular virtual switches and create new ones to replace them as they have scenes associated with them. They perform functions that I wouldn’t want available via Alexa and I don’t want to have to re-write the scenes.

For future reference just in case its needed I’m wondering if anyone has had the same experience and found a non- destructive way of bringing ghost virtual devices into the Alexa devices list. Thanks
