I have not noticed such a problem. Does the problem occur in the smartthings application or in ihost? This happens after an internet outage. or a power outage.
More especially after power outage, as after a re-boot. Logically all virtual devices are initially offline, as seen on the web UI of the iHost. Temperature sensors, contact sensors, a light, a button, all recover on operation but virtual âswitchesâ no.
I have to use the inject node, even sometimes modify the Device Initial State, âonâ to âoffâ, then back again, to re-inject before they come back online.

maybe you have some error in the flow in node-red
Hello. Please tell me, why and how do you use these virtual devices? I read it, but I didnât understand it. Google canât always convey the meaning of what is written.
Hey, is this an issue that happens on every outage? For virtual switch devices created on Node-Red?
Hi, thanks for the follow-up.
Yes. As I commented above I think probably itâs more after a power outage, or a reboot.
Iâve sent you the Node-red flow that creates it by DM so maybe someone in the team could check thereâs no configuration error.
Thx, Iâm checking your DM
