Hi Morgan, regarding the issue of device status not updating in time when using the CAST website in the Fennec F-Droid browser, we have not tested using CAST in that browser before. We will try it out and see if we can reproduce the issue.
As for the other issue with the CAST app showing a white screen on Android 8.1 Go, were you logging into the CAST app on your phone?

I just checked again, logged out completely from ewelink app and web.
After deleting the data/cache from the CAST app, the app started again and allowed me to select the cast cloud and log in to my account. Then the white screen again and the available panel on the left side and nothing else.
After turning off the app and turning it back on, it hangs on the welcome screen.
I run the CAST app on a 10-inch tablet with Android 8.1 Go and 1GB RAM, of which about 600MB is free.
On a phone with Android 7.1, the CAST app is listed as incompatible in the Play Store, but when I download the apk and install it, the app tries to initialize but it just looks like the screen blinks and nothing else, the app doesn’t start, so I speculate that the CAST app is actually not compatible with phone and only works on tablet. 
Hi Morgan, yes the CAST app is designed to be used on tablet devices, so you may encounter issues when attempting to use it on a phone.
Since phones have smaller screens optimized for touch interfaces, the CAST app’s interface and functionality may not display or work properly. This could explain the blank white screen you are seeing.
Our recommendation would be to use CAST on a tablet as intended for the best experience.

hello - Provide stats on how long the device that is using the smart plugs is using power. You have it so it just how long the plug is in the on position not how long the plug has register power from the device it is plugged into. For example a heater is plugged into it but because the heater cycles on and off I like to know how many hrs it was using power, not how many hrs the plug was on.
Hi Morgan, I thought you were referring to having the problem on a phone, do you also have this problem using the CAST App on a 10-inch tablet with Android 8.1 Go and 1GB RAM?
The problem has been with the tablet from the beginning. CAST app, as I described earlier, does not want to work properly.
When I run the application for the first time, I reach the stage of selecting the local/cloud mode and adding/logging in to the account. Later only a white screen.
The second and each subsequent launch of CAST app, the application hangs on the start/welcome screen and stays like this forever.
Tablet 10inch, Android 8.1 Go, 1GB ram.

Please can we have more Webhook functions. For example, adjust inching time for SmartSwitch / adjust brightness / colour for Smart Light Bulb.
