BASIC-ZB1GSP different UI than matter version

Hello,

Is possible to change the UI of the BASIC-ZB1GSP like the matter version?

To watch the watt usage you need to click the module, which doesnt happen in the matter version as It shows the stats in the main page

Could you clarify which UI you are referring to? Is this the eWeLink app, Home Assistant, or another platform?

And when you say “the Matter version”, do you mean a similar Matter device? A screenshot showing the two UIs would be helpful to understand exactly what you mean.

Bar din rail sonoff has Matter version and Zigbee, ive try both, the matter one looks like this in EWELINK

Instead, zigbee version needs to be clicked to access at the stats, and in the menu looks like this

I can see the UI difference, but I’m still not sure what exactly is being compared. Could you specify the exact Matter device/model you mean? The screenshots alone don’t provide enough information to determine whether this is a Matter vs. Zigbee UI difference for the same device.

Are you using the BASIC-1GSP in eWeLink as a Matter device, rather than as a regular Wi-Fi/eWeLink device? I’m wondering whether the difference is related to the different capabilities exposed by the Matter and eWeLink implementations.

The BASIC-1GSP uses Matter’s standardized electrical power/energy measurement clusters, while the BASIC-ZB1GSP exposes its energy data through the Zigbee/eWeLink device-specific implementation. Perhaps the eWeLink UI has a generic tile for the standardized Matter measurements, while the Zigbee device uses a different device-specific UI.

One more question: where exactly do you see this UI — on the gateway/Bridge device page, or on the main eWeLink device dashboard after adding the BASIC-1GSP as a Matter device?

I do see the difference in the ewelink app.

I believe its pretty clear what am asking, as i also posted pics and example.

But looks like you have no idea of how that product works then your asking me 40 questions.

Zigbee versione of din rail has different front UI

Matter version shows everything without needing to join the page, but shows a preview

Not sure what all your doubts are…

However u can close this topic cba to waste time any longer

Other users could explain it, but not from vague descriptions and unanswered questions. If your request is simply to make the Zigbee UI look like the Matter UI, that’s a feature request for SONOFF/eWeLink.
