All of the ZBBridge-P that we use are in an apartment complex with each apartment having it’s own WiFi.
Is it possible to have each ZBBridge-P assigned a second WiFi info as a backup in-case the primary WiFi goes off? Or can anyone think of a work around to this issue?
Unfortunately, you can forget about this option. The cheap Sonoff devices don’t have this functionality, and unfortunately, never will.
Sonoff doesn’t seem to have any gateways with this functionality.
You’d have to look for something on the market with this functionality, which isn’t exactly common in IoT. Or build something yourself.
Alternatively, you can improvise and keep the second Wi-Fi network with the same SSID/pass and turn it on when the first network goes down.
Otherwise, you would have to replace all your zigbee gateways and even if you find something that supports spare wifi, it will generally be very expensive.
