ZBBridge-P ‘Bricked’ after firmware upgrade to 3.0.0

Has any other user experienced a total inability to switch any devices after upgrading the bridge to 3.0.0? I performed this today and subsequently can’t adjust anything, lights, switches and sensors are offline. I’ve powered off both the bridge, lights and switches - it makes no difference. After the power cycle, it will appear online, devices will then reconnect (54 on this one) and then when you try to switch them they just fail and all the de ices go offline. The blue light on the bridge is solid. I have no internet connectivity issues and I see the service status page implies 100% platform availability. The Zigbee channel option just times out and I can’t check/ change channels. HELP!!!

The update didn’t cause these symptoms for me. I updated via eWeLink web. Although I don’t have as many devices as you… The only thing I can suggest is a factory reset.

But I’m struggling with other issues related to “P.”

Hi Morgan. I noted your other issue and feel your pain! I also upgraded via web. I fear a reset of the bridge because if the lights don’t bind again after, resetting them is a real pain; half are recessed ceiling lights that clip in the plasterboard, then there’s a dozen GU10’s in outdoor wall lights. All had to be paired individually when I set them up (on the deck) and isolating the circuits would be an enormous task.

I understand the scale of your problem, and I wouldn’t want to do it again.
I have a similar problem with changing the password for Wi-Fi devices. The only option is to do everything again, and then the scenes will disappear. It’s just total armageddon… ~!@#$%^&*()

Submit feedback through the eWeLink app. This is the first official method of reporting bugs. But don’t give up on the forum and try calling the people at sonoff/ewelink.

I also submitted a request through the app and created a thread on the forum, and in both cases, no response from sonoff/ewelink so far.

Your situation reminds me a bit of mine, except for me, it happens when there’s no internet. That means no working LAN mode. I’m experiencing the same issue as you. Nothing responds, I can’t control it, and when I power cycle the bridge, all the devices go offline and never come back. Only returning the internet and connecting to the cloud restores the situation.

“P” 3.0.0

eWeLink 5.22.1

If it were around February 17th, I’d say the guys are celebrating the Chinese New Year of 2026. That’s exactly when the Year of the Horse (Fire element) begins. And it is something to celebrate, because it’s one of the most energetic and dynamic combinations in the entire 12‑year zodiac cycle.

On the forum, it’s been almost dead calm from the eWeLink dev team and the Sonoff people for several days now. Maybe things have gone so far that, aside from fixing bugs, they simply don’t have any time left to answer or communicate anything. Like in that old joke about construction workers running around with empty wheelbarrows — there’s so much work that they don’t have time to load them
