Hello after installing the new update 1.4.4 on TRVZB and 3.0.0 on ZBBridge-P, I have tested the new feature Adaptive mode on 3 TRVZB(a480101f1b, a48010154f, a4801072a9). Unfortunately my experience is not good. After reaching the target temperature all thermostats closed and the temperature dropped with 1 degree and did not turned on(opened) the thermostat…I tried 2-3 times to reset the thermostat settings, but the same thing happened—the target temperature was reached and then the thermostat shut off, even though it showed that it was in heating mode.
I did all this in automatic mode on the thermostats.
Is it an error in the algorithm or am I doing something wrong? Please help.
Something must be wrong, I only tried it on one head out of 10 and it didn’t turn off at all. The temperature was already 1.5°C higher than set and the head still said Heating. I turned it back on because I didn’t have much time.
After a week of trying out Adaptive mode, I came to the conclusion that the model does not self-learn. Therefore, I had to create two automations to restart the mode (turn off Auto, wait 1 minute, and turn it back on at a temperature of ± 0.4 degrees). This reverses the action of the heating mode. Otherwise, the good thing is that the temperature changes more smoothly at the end point.
Hi,
I tested the adaptive mode, but my heating system doesn’t shut down. It keeps running even after the temperature reaches 18.5 °C.
I see the same behavior on all my Sonoff devices. I’m using an external temperature sensor for each thermostat head.
Any idea what could be causing this? Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
Let it “self-train” for at least a week. If you are still dissatisfied with its behavior after that, switch to Home Assistant and Zigbee2mqtt.
