Hi, I would like to use the leak sensor SNZB-05P to detect when my coffe machine runs out of water. The plan is to stick it inside the tank and when the water drops under a level to get a notification.
Would this work with this new sensor? Is it ok to keep it in water all the time (IP67) considering that i use the water for coffe ?
Another idea would be to connect two wires to the exposed terminals of the sensor and submerge the wires.

Anyone have something like this?

Theoretically it should work.

I use a float type sensor to measure water level, but not for coffee.
