Will the Sonoff Ultra one day function as a Matter controller like the Aqara M3? Is that part of the plans?

I added a Sonoff M5 switch to my Aqara hub via Matter and I can control my Tapo L535e fixtures with my desired scenario.
Although I can directly control the Zemismart ZML-3 RGBWW LED controller on the Sonoff, I cannot control it via scenario.
In fact, it often appears offline on ewelink (but online on Google Streamer 4K).
Even though I can write scenarios (for the Tapo L535e) on the Sonoff, they don’t work.
The Tapo L535e doesn’t go offline as often as the Zemismart; it’s usually online.
So, the Sonoff Ultra doesn’t function like a Matter controller. It only acts as a gateway connecting Sonoff products to the Matter ecosystem.
I want it to function as a full-fledged substance controller.
Will the Sonoff Ultra be improved with this feature via an update, or will we be forced to work on a new product in the coming years?
