If you have deleted backups, restart ihost and clear your web browser history.
If you have installed the homebridge, home assistant add-on, this may be the reason that the backup is too large. It is recommended to make backup copies of these add-ons on your computer’s disk and uninstall these add-ons from ihost. Then make a backup copy of ihost. Then install the necessary add-ons.
Hi
Yeah those basic things of course i have already tried, was no problems before this last update to take backups.
I had 4 backups that I deleted and still can’t make one new!?
same problem
Same problem
Often, a backup error is related to an unstable LAN connection and the iHost stopping refreshing information during the backup, causing the browser to freeze, and refreshing the website causes an update error. Try running the backup automatically, with a frequency (once), and set the update interval to, for example, 2 minutes.
If automatic backup fails, download the logs from ihost and send them to ewelink support.
My automatic backup was successful
This is clearly a memory problem, since the last two updates of cube there is not enough memory as the operating system takes too much of it.
When you don’t get an answer right away, then its a known problem that they don’t have a solution for! Have to wait until there is a new version of ihost out
Probably you don’t have so much in docker and maybe the 4GB version. My point is that it worked perfectly before, no warning about this before upgrading. Now I can’t make backups, would be many many hours of work if this would fail unfortunately
The eMMC memory only has 1.5 GB available for backup.
I only have ewelink smart home, file browser and node-red in docker.
Yes, so you barely have anything installed.
The problem is not solved. eWeLink CUBE Version 2.6.1 Backup problem
The problems with the backup are still unresolved with the new version 2.6.1.
Even if the size of backup is lightened.
The problem is not solved. eWeLink CUBE Version 2.7.0 Backup problem
I tried to recover to my old backup, ihost stuck and i tried everything, bu no luck, i have resetted the device and start over. I spent hours.
When a manual or auto backup is made, the R5 remotes do not work until the ihost is restarted, this was not the case before, this error arrived with version 2.7.0. Will there be a solution for this?
