eWeLink app on F-Droid

Is there a chance that the eWeLink team will start publishing the Android app also on the F-Droid Repository?!

I would welcome an application for CubeOS there.

Starting with version 4.0.0, you can download various applications using F-Droid on the NSPanel Pro, but publishing Android apps on F-Droid can indeed be challenging. Could you let me know which type of app you specifically need?

Since there is no support for CubeOS in NSPP, a utility that will be able to connect to Cast and display it just like it was in version 3.x.x

I think the original post was about the usual Android app as there are Android Phones that don’t have the Play Store. Had to install eWeLink from an APK before. Copying the usual APK to the FDROID store would be helpful.

After the US passed the CLOUD Act in 2018 people outside the USA are de-Googling phones in increasing numbers. I personally won’t let Google near my OS any more.

I watched how applications for fdroid are created, but I don’t want to learn another language. After all, I know ASM, Basic, Pascal, Delphi, C, C++ and C#. I actively use C and C#, sometimes Assembler. Sonoff will not be interested in a completely reasonable way to put Cast in NSPP, so we have to do it ourselves.

Exactly. I hardly use Google Play… I have it disabled 99% of the time and only launch it to update apps.

However, I launch F-D regularly. eWeLink does have a package available on their website, but there’s no information about which version is available for download.
