My iHost NodeRED just died. Before I could access remotely but not locally but not this time. I was using node red to put out MQTT messages to the node red on my Home Assistant setup.
Made me wonder about a more reliable system. Is it possible to put MQTT messages out directly? The Tasmota to MQTT docker siggests MQTT must be built in to some degree. Or maybe I should forget MQTT and use a different medium like Matter?
If the Home Assistant could do matter and the iHost could connect to its Matter network would that permit a route?
Or maybe the official Sonoff Home Assistant HACS store integration is going to include the iHost soon?
If I’m going to use two local hubs I need a reliable way for them to talk to each other.
