Your right - that’s the same to me. Not having the posibility to expose ihost (or at least iHost Cast) to the Internet in an easy way (without having to set up vpn or so), is one of the biggest issues of iHost.
It’s very easy to have remote internet access to iHost and its CAST UI by using the Taliscale Feature available in iHost Docker. For security reasons I have a cable router (WAN Port connected to ISP Router LAN Port) dedicated to just my iHost and its devices which has a gateway to the internet that I can switch on/off locally or remotely.
