I see your point. Bluetooth is not that stable IMHO, what if there is interference, triggering leave/return home all the time? And it would require the eWeLink app and Bluetooth module to run all the time in the background, which would drain your battery fast.
but using wifi ssid to trigger the scene is a good idea
