When I came to the place bridge looked like connected to wifi (blue LED constantly ON, but dimmed). Unfortunately in the app still offline…
Tried to power reboot but no result… after several tries I gave up…
I used new zbbridge-P with 2.5.0 and all connection problems disappeared. The light of blue LED is brighter and green LED blinks when zigbee receivers trying to connect (not seen before), and yes zigbee led indicator whas turned-on in the app before…
@petar.kirov thank You for suggestion. I changed the cable and charger just in case
@Mighty_Arti Take in consideration how long is your power supply cable. The device is very sensitive to voltage drops. Now I use 2A power supply with 2 condensers on end to eliminate drop of voltage.
My problem with zbbridge-p is: when my wifi loses power and it takes a some to reconnect to the network. All zigbee devices are offline until I manually reset the device (disconnect the devices from power). All Wi-Fi devices in the bridge are connected and online. The main problem is that the device is in a different location where I am.
If everything is able to start up on its own after a power outage and you can access the local network from the internet and control Wi-Fi devices, then… Connect the ZBBridge-P to a Sonoff Micro or something like the S60… Theoretically, anything on the power line that can turn off/on and communicate via Wi-Fi.
If you don’t have and don’t want to create an entry to your local network from the Internet, then a Sonoff WiFi will suffice, which will connect to the cloud and you can control it via the app… and if you have a paid plan, then a webhook.
This bridge itself doesn’t have a reboot option. Theoretically, this might be available when flashing a new firmware, and then the bridge probably performs a reset. But this isn’t available to regular users in the Sonoff/eWeLink ecosystem.
So the answer is no, I’m not aware of such a possibility. Only an additional device, but you already know that.
