I didn’t find a similar topic in the search. That’s why I suggest. Why not make a wifi access point as a trigger? You can use macrodroid and web hooks, but why use third-party programs if you can interact directly. At the moment, it is necessary that when connecting to wifi, the camera stops detecting the presence of a person or movement, and when disconnecting from wifi, human detection works again. Additionally, I will suggest what someone has already suggested. Geolocation trigger. I tried macrodroid and web hook, for some reason it does not work stably.
I’m not entirely sure what you mean. Maybe the translation messed something up. How would wifi ap be a trigger?
so that Ewelink could check what Wi-Fi the phone is connected to and perform actions based on that. Or is it too complicated? I just thought if the macrodroid can do it, then why not implement it in Ewelink.
Ok I understand. And good luck to live to see the day when ewelink implements something like that. There’s no chance of that.
Their app doesn’t have any control interactions with the phone’s environment at the moment and I doubt that will change.
They are focusing on iot solutions and I doubt that they will go in the direction of adding interactions outside the environment.
I also think that they will not do this. But still, if you keep silent, it will not be better. And yet they interact with the phone’s environment, they use NFC as a trigger, so what is the problem with doing the same for Wi-Fi and GPS. It is not clear to me.
