Dw2-rf and basicr4

can i connect dw2-rf with basicr4 as sub device? or with nspanel pro?
what the maximum distance i can placebetween dw2 and the paring device during operation?

To put it briefly, it can’t be done. DW2-RF requires an RF gateway to work. The BASICR4 is a WiFi device and cannot communicate directly with RF devices. Even if you had the RF variant of the BASIC switch, it would be impossible to use the DW2-RF as something like a remote control.
The operational distance between the DW2-RF and the gateway can be quite large but actually depends on many factors. The RF band is unprotected and prone to a variety of interference from other similar devices operating in vicinity. In my experience, the best solution in all respects is a Zigbee sensor, which also requires a gateway. Such a gateway could be the NSPanel Pro.

i have R5 which connect to basicR4 as sub device. they aren’t the same as dw2rf?

sorry, just need to find solution for this before i throw dw2rf into dust bin😅

They are not and were never meant to be.
Into the dustbin?! Have you gone mental? :no_good_man: Take care of the environment. Sell or make a gift. Surely someone needs the RF version.

ya i got mental.

This is bad :sunglasses:

You’re not crazy, garbage belongs in the garbage and should be thrown there  I threw many similar devices into the garbage because now they are worthless and belong in the garbage :)And the best gift you can give to the environment and your friends is to tell them never to buy such things
