Born in the 60s I have seen a lot of technology leaps and smart home is a natural progression. However it seems to be a bit of a Wild West with lots of people doing what they wanted and bugger all commonality. I know there are future Matter but right now not clogging up or breaking the system with the “wrong” protocol or piece is a task by itself. That’s why I’m here to learn. Also I’m trying to draw some sort of overview of the layers of the system inc physical, logical and software/firmware! Wish me luck!
