Hello every one,

Does ZBMini goes off immediately after ON to anyone else?.

This is the second device I try in my two way switching installation and problem persists.

If I switch my ZBMINI manually (from the wall plate) , or if I do wireless, from time to time (1 of 10 tries), light goes off automatically after be on for an instant.
Could be relationship with the length of the S1 and S2 wire? if does, why have the same problem if i use wireless way to activate it?

In other two way installation with larger wiring length, i can not switch on from the plate (it doesnt recognize the order), but i can do it wireless.

I manage my ZBMINI from Ihost.

I followed the wiring instruction like this:

Thank you in advance.

With S1/S2 you can use rocker light switches only. The self-return (also called momentary, like door bell switch) switch is not supported. What you are experiencing may have to do with faulty wiring. You have added a diagram from the manual. What does it look like in your case?

the bell switch works normally. zbmini supports all types of switches.

In my experience, the bell works better. if you control the light from the application and an external switch.

If you press the switch quickly or very slowly, the zbmini operating mode sometimes changes.

the switch type is incorrectly recognized.

The internal resistance of the cable may also cause interference.
zbmini has 3.3v on the S1/S2 connectors.

Really? How do you change the type attached? Officially, it’s not supported. See the product card or [manual](https://sonoff.tech/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/%E8%AF%B4%E6%98%8E%E4%B9%A6-ZBMINI-V1.2-20210305.pdf) for ZBMini (not
ZBMINIR2).

There is no such information in the official product card. I once had a problem where I turned on the light and it immediately went off. I wrote to Sonoff support. and I got this answer.

a photodiode or contractor can also be connected to s1 and s2.

now I plan to use zbmini to connect a rain sensor.

It appears that at Sonoff they do not know themselves what they are communicating. How is it possible that there are two or three versions concerning the same product? Or are we talking about two different devices?

sonoff, as always, does not update its information. 🙂 There were 3 versions of mini devices. (MINI - wifi, MINIR2 - wifi, ZBMINI).

here are some interesting facts to read.
