For example, on a DualR3 channel.

What would such a scene be performing?

With the DualR3, due to power limitations, I can monitor an ornamental ignition that I can’t automate, and turn on other lights, for example. With the Earu DIN rail meters, I can create a charging traffic light with a GU12 RGB bulb. I currently do this with Home Assistant, but not with eWeLink without resorting to IFFT.

With Tuya, it works perfectly.

It could perform a safety function, imagine that you start the pump to empty the tank and rely only on the contactor being switched on, but the pump is broken, it stops and no water is pumped. If you saw any power, the system could evaluate whether everything is fine or, conversely, something is wrong.

Correct, it would be possible to monitor consumption to confirm proper operation. An open-circuit motor has zero consumption, and if it’s overloaded, it could be due to a locked rotor or some other reason.
