Hello, I bought the Ihost several months ago, without being able to use the Ewelink application, because you need a bridge to use it (I think it’s ridiculous!!). So I bought the ZB BridgeP to be able to use the Ewelink application. My question is this: How do I transfer my Zigbee modules connected to my Ihost to my ZB BridgeP, without resetting all my modules one by one? (I admit it would be very complicated, given their locations). Thanks in advance, ---

If you need cloud control and management, then ZBBridge is the right choice. It looks like you didn’t catch the purpose of iHost. It has a few annoying drawbacks, but the lack of integration with the eWeLink cloud is not one of them. ---

Ok, I understand that Ihost is local, but having so many manipulations to integrate Alexa or HomeKit, while Ewelink greatly facilitates these steps. Putting Ewelink as a native application, with the choice of local or cloud, and making all the modules on Ihost visible on the application, would be much simpler and less expensive. However, my question remains unanswered! ---

It would. But that’s not the point. If you were satisfied with the cloud option, why did you buy your iHost? What did you hope for? ---

If you prefer a cloud experience with the eWeLink app and cloud, ZBBridge-P or the latest Ultra would be the best option. There is no way for such a transfer, even between two identical hubs at the moment. Even if some brands provide the feature, I won’t recommend using it, which may lead to failure in your Zigbee network. ---

I bought Ihost first, seeing that Ewelink wasn’t working, I bought the ZB Bridge-P, believing that thanks to it the whole system would communicate with Ewelink. ---

Thank you Jam3, I’ll take note of your suggestion. I have another question: Are the modules connected to the ZB Bridge-P visible in the Ihost room? Can they be controlled locally on Ihost? ---

It comes down to the fact that you have another device that doesn’t necessarily suit your intentions. But don’t get rid of it. Perhaps eWeLink has plans to be able to switch the ZBBridge Pro into router mode. Unless you can still return this purchase.
