# Sonoff siren SNZB-09P

Hello everyone, I’m new to home automation and have started buying Sonoff devices. Until now, I’d been a bit disappointed that Sonoff didn’t offer a siren. But I’ve just seen in the EweLink changelog (release 3.27.0) that a new product was mentioned: SONOFF SNZB-09P

So far, I’ve only found one link on this subject for the Z2M configuration: [SONOFF SNZB-09P control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT](https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/SNZB-09P.html)

However, the product doesn’t seem to be on sale yet, nor is it even listed on the SONOFF website. I’m posting this message in case other users are interested in a native solution or have found the product on sale

Make your own siren. Purchase a 240 volts siren and connect it to the Sonoff Mini Gen 4 or Gen 5 switch. To protect the Gen 5 or Gen 4 switch if it is outdoors, use the sonoff waterproof enclosure.

It will be great if Sonnof comes up with Wifi/Matter and Zigbee sirens

Looks good, though it is not for outdoors. They should produce outdoor versions as well.

Hi,

I have a Sonoff Zigbee ultra Bridge and the sonoff snzb-09p Connected with home assistant, but i can’t control across the home assistant

When starting the update, the device reports the following error

Well, a security siren with an off switch is pretty stupid. Sure, it detects if someone carries it away, but if I turn it off, it’ll be silent.

I`m not familiar with this error code, but almost every time I update Sonoff devices, I get the message: “update failed”. Despite this the version changes with 50/50 chance 🤣
